About Eric Lorenz

Eric Lorenz was born and raised in Park Ridge, IL, one of three brothers. He graduated from Maine South High School in 1980, and recieved an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Elgin Community College in May 1997. He has been interested in photography all his life, and opened Lorenz Photography(now Lorenz Portrait & Wedding Designs) in 1992.

Eric is a member of:
-Professional Photographers of America
-Professional Photographers Association of Northern Illinois
-National Association of Photoshop Professionals

Eric attends many hours of classes and seminars each year to stay current on new trends and techniques in portrait, wedding, and senior photography. In his spare time, Eric likes to work with computers, go sailing and biking, and collect antique cameras. Eric lives with his wife Marilyn and daughter Sarah in South Elgin, IL.
